Onyx ‘O BLANCO’ White was born & raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Sitting in the heart of the community and its quick pace and shiny shards along the busy intersections. He was previously incarcerated, having served 12 years, starting his sentence as a young black boy in his teens until now as a young adult male. Throughout his time being served he has faced extreme hardship following attempts to obstruct his justice. Over-sentenced. Systematic racism. Mental health neglect. Isolation.
Onyx needed a safe way to release natural rage and frustration. In the circumstances. He turned to music. Attached to his bio is an original that was recorded over a prison phone during a call.
